I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Ruby Electric - Philip Sayce New Release Review

I just got done listening to the soon to be released (July 11, 2011) "Ruby Electric" cd by Philip Sayce. Although not really a traditional blues album by any means I found it very entertaining. The recordings should have broad appeal. There is a broad spectrum of congruous music from my favorite, Alchemy to Philip's take on Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl and the Beatles "I Want You".

The album coincides with a short UK tour that will take in dates at:

London Borderline (July 25)
Bristol Tunnels (July 27)
Holmfirth Picturedrome (July 28)
Manchester Band on the Wall (July 29).
