I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Can't Watch You Go By - Leah Marie King

Blues-rock artist LEAH MARIE KING has astounded audiences with a powerful combination of her craftsmanship as a songwriter, her skills as a fierce guitar player, and her captivating vocals. After relocating to Nashville, Tennessee Leah recently climbed to the #1 spot on the ReverbNation Nashville Blues Charts. Having picked up her first guitar at the age of 15, Leah was touring professionally full time by the age of 22. Often compared to the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Guy, Leah's talent for aggressive and intense guitar work is considered the highlight of her powerful live performances. Always a crowd pleaser, she has opened for such artists as Blue Rodeo, Johnny Winter, Eddie "The Chief" Clearwater, Chilliwack and Jerry Doucette. Taking note of her formidable guitar skills, the legendary Texas bluesman Sonny Rhodes recruited Leah as a guitar player during his Western Canadian tour. Armed with her enviable skill for songwriting, Leah has recorded two albums that she co-produced, receiving airplay in the U.S., Canada, France, Australia, and the UK, while dozens more of her original material await her greatly anticipated third album. Her band consists of the legendary Calvin Johnson on bass (Anthony Gomes, Scott Holt, Shaun Murphy). On drums is Nashville pro The Rev Zack Reynolds, who was the rhythm section for the house band at B.B. King's Blues Club.
