I just received the newest release, Passion, Soul & Fire from David M'ore and it's smokin! Opening with The Devil's Land , a really crisp Texas blues rocker it brings to mind the late great Stevie Ray and his intensity but with a voice that is a cross between Billy Gibbons and Howlin Wolf. Yeah, think about that. This is a super track and one that really hits the spot with M'ore slashing his way on lead guitar and joined by Wade Olson on drums and David De Silva on bass. Excellent! Love Again really hits ZZ Tops' old sound with the gravelly vocals and lead bass rumble. With an aggressive attack and atmospheric backing, M'ore rips a really nice solo on guitar. Stronger Thank I Realize has a almost floating feel along the lines of Robin Trower. M'ore has his own heat and his guitar work really never sounds like someone else.
