Hard To Please - Ron Sayer Jr & Charlotte Joyce

Ron began playing guitar at seven, was gigging by the time he was 10 and never really wanted to do anything else. Taking the rocky road from Hank Marvin to Robert Johnson and stopping off pretty much everywhere in-between!! He became pretty well qualified in music, gaining a BA (hons) in classical music, trained at Homerton College, Cambridge University and won the coveted title of "Guitarist Of The Year" a few years back, playing at Wembley Live Music Hall and appearing in Guitarist Magazine, not to mention winning a beautiful custom shop Fender. Also he took grade 8 in both guitar and bass guitar, went on to be an examiner for Rockschool, taught guitar for many years (and still does) and is still giving lectures in blues improvisation at various colleges including Cambridge University. He has toured the globe and played with/supported Buddy Guy, John Mayall, Walter Trout, Robin Trower, Ten Years After, Imelda May, Matt Schofield. Debbie Davies, Nine Below Zero, Stan We...
