Western Australian outfit Blue Shaddy have started to attract a lot of positive national attention in the last twelve months. The band reached No. 1 on the Perth Indie Charts in May, received a Best Instrumentalist Award (Belly McClelland) at the 2007 Blues at Broadbeach Awards in the same month, and then in November took out the 2007 MusicOz Best Blues & Roots Artist. Plus, the word of mouth on their amazing live show saw Blue Shaddy gain invitations to most of the major music festivals on offer. Early 2008, and that attention is set to grow further, with Blue Shaddy releasing 'BURY MY GHOST' – their fourth album and best yet.
