💿 ALBUM REVIEW: Alex Kilroy - Break My Chains

Image
Orlando-based blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Alex Kilroy delivers powerful, boundary-pushing performances that honor traditional roots while forging a distinct modern sound. Originally born in Transylvania, Romania , Kilroy spent his early childhood training on classical piano before a life-changing introduction to the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan permanently shifted his trajectory toward the blues. After relocating to Florida, his exceptional talent earned him recognition from the Orlando Blues & Roots Alliance and opportunities to open for legendary American artists by the young age of fourteen. Now a vital fixture in the Southeastern music scene, Kilroy channels this lifetime of technical mastery and soulful songwriting into his compelling new album.   🎵 LISTEN & SUPPORT THE ALBUM   Add this Record to Your Collection Available in CD and Digital Formats. 🛒 Buy Album on Amazon Store As an Amazon Associate, Bman e...

Low Society Performance Update

Talking with Sturgis Nikides of Low Society. Here's what he had to say:

We are very busy little beavers here in the LS camp. We've been keeping our noses to the grindstone, in rehearsals preparing to begin national touring. This week (Oct 23 - 29) we are being featured on the nationally syndicated Blues Deluxe radio hour - syndicated to 200 stations worldwide. In the meantime, we do have a couple of appearances coming up locally too. Nov. 7 @ Delancey Bar, NYC - Nov. 11 Veterans Day Benefit/Motorcycle Run for Rolling Thunder MC at Woody's Roadside Tavern in Farmingdale NJ (with Slackjaw Blues Band) - Dec. 10 - at Dock Street Bar on Staten Island.
Here's a performance from Washinton's Festival in the Borough earlier this month:
