Chris Buck first came to national notice in the trio TH3. Based in South Wales the trio came to the attention of the likes of Classic Rock after playing the Sonisphere Festival and were selected by the magazine as a talent to watch for. In the aftermath of the trio’s split, Buck's management decided the best thing was for Chris to record an album. They called on him to fly to Arizona and 'Postcards from Capricorn' was the result. Returning to the UK Chris spent time looking for the perfect singer, a contemporary Paul Rodgers. Invited to open for Sandi Thom he asked Sally Ann Evans to sit in as a vocalist. Sally Ann and Chris had once shared a stage at The Steelhouse in Ebbw Vale. The rehearsal for the show revealed an unexpected empathy between her voice and his guitar.
