Born in Cincinnati, he caught the jazz bug early, eventually packing his bags for the Berklee College of Music to hone his chops. From there, his musical compass took him far beyond Ohio. He spent nearly two decades gigging, recording, and leading bands across major Asian cultural hubs like Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Born right in the windy city, he eventually headed out east to sharpen his chops and graduate from the world-famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. Since then, he has put in serious work on the stage, earning himself a well-deserved induction into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame as a Master Blues Guitarist.
