I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

  1. I saw 'Wede" with Musselwhite in Kalispell Montana and he blew us away. Would love for him to teach and play the blues at the Crown Guitar Workshop and Festival in nearby Bigfork MT. One week at end of August each year. 2016 will be the seventh annual. We've had Bonamassa, Robben Ford and others. We need Wedemeyer. The man can play most anything.

  2. Saw John in Los Gatos outside a bar in old town watching Chris Cain play guitar in 1983 or so. He was less than 21 then not long into the future there he was playing around San Jose and already really good that early on.

  3. I played professionally around San Jose in the 80s and early 90s.I first heard of John from Andy Just and others.Once I was playing a club called The Cabaret and he was the bottom billed act;a year later I found I was opening for him.In the late 90s he was in a band called The Missing Man Formation led by ex-grateful dead/Tubes keyboardist Vince Welnik.I heard he played with Wayne Newton in Vegas.I hope this is helpful!
