I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Scorch Sisters Fran Singing

Red-Hot Blues: Francesca Capasso (center) gets into a soulful blues groove during the recent "Ladies Do The Blues" concert at Harper's in Tarzana, Calif. Scorch Sisters (l to r) are Alicia McCracken Morgan (keyboards, vocals); Francesca Capasso (lead vocals); and Kimberly Allison (guitars). The band performs at "Lorey's Blues For Hope" benefiting City of Hope at Joe's American Grill August 28.

"The Scorch Sisters seize the blues as their own and subsequently fire it up with a unique intensity. They will demand your respect with their powerful vocals all the while having you wonder where the "Hell" have these ladies been hiding! The Scorch Sisters deliver the blues straight up: can someone say 'Cheers'?"
