Scorch Sisters Resume Popular Pro Jam Residency At Pig N' Whistle In Hollywood

(HOLLYWOOD) - You never know who will show up and take the stage at Hollywood's most popular Pro Blues Jam - one that at various times has drawn the likes of musicians Kenny Wayne Shepard, Joe Bonamassa, Denny Seiwell, Steve Lukather, Bugs Henderson, and Matt Sorum, as well as actors Lou Diamond Philips and Charlene Tilton, among others.

Hosting the always-exciting festivities here are the Scorch Sisters, who return with their All-Star Pro Blues Jam at the famed Pig N' Whistle, 6714 Hollywood Blvd. (at Highland), Hollywood, this Thursday, June 16. 9:30 pm- midnite; $10. In support of our troops overseas, the Scorch Sisters' music is featured the entire week of June 12-18 as the Spotlight Artist heard around the globe on the American Veterans Radio network. Log onto www.avradio.org to listen in.

The recently-formed Scorch Sisters are a "super-group" of sorts whose principal members are highly-regarded SoCal musicians Francesca Capasso (vocals, percussion); Alicia McCracken Morgan (keyboards, vocals); and Kimberly "KC" Allison (guitars). Among the stellar bands and artists on the three ladies' collective musical resume's: Billy Vera and the Beaters; Joe Houston; Zola Moon; Don & Dewey; Bobby Womack; Melissa Etheridge; Spencer Davis; Some Like It Hot Revue; and Francesca and the Flames. Scorch Sisters made their performing debut at this past April's "Blues For The Rising Sun" benefit in Long Beach, followed by a headlining appearance at this past May's Real Blues Festival of Orange County 2.
