Born right in the windy city, he eventually headed out east to sharpen his chops and graduate from the world-famous Berklee College of Music in Boston. Since then, he has put in serious work on the stage, earning himself a well-deserved induction into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame as a Master Blues Guitarist. You can still regularly catch him blowing the roof off the place at Buddy Guy's Legends, one of the most iconic blues joints in town. A Rhode Island native, he started carving out his musical path at the Berklee College of Music back in the early seventies. After graduating, he hit the highway to pay his dues across the country, spending a few formative years gigging around Kansas City before making the definitive move to New York in 1982.
