I found this cd an interesting submission to a blues blog but I did find it enjoyable to listen to. Eleanor has a very interesting voice and a definite UK accent but she falls into an elite class of vocalists. She's doesn't appear to be trying to sound like anyone else and I found her recording refreshing. I don't think it will necessarily appeal to strident blues fans but to people who like strong writing, solo acoustic guitar and straight up honest singing may find it very appealing.
