I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Lulubell Blues - Frank "Fat Man" Humphries

Frank "Fat Man" Humphries was a hot trumpet player who played in Lucky Millinder's band in the 1940's. He was born in Gracy Kentucky 4/8/13, and also played (and recorded) with Tab Smith's combos in the 1940's. According to John Chilton's "Who's Who In Jazz" he and his brothers were leading a band through the early 1970's.
