I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

The Incredible Jimmy Nick - IBC Bound

The Incredible Jimmy Nick

Mr. Jimmy Nick - IBC Bound

"Laying down the blues for all generations"

Not since Chuck Berry entertained millions with his famous duck walk across the stage and Elvis Presley thrilled millions with his shaky legs has anyone demonstrated such flair.  Enter Young Jimmy Nick - the man is killing them in Chicago with a combination of live blues and theatrics.  No one gave the memo to this cat that when you play the blues you are supposed to just stand there.  Whether he unexpectedly jumps on the bar to get closer to the crowd or does the splits on stage or pulls some other expressive theatrical move out of his bag of showmanship this rising star is entertaining audiences, they love the sound and the show.  Already the bluesman has three CDs out and his last single alone sold right at 1,500 copies.  The blues ain't dead folks it's just been waiting for Jimmy Nick.  Whether he plays Buddy Guy's Legends or Kingston Mines or B.L.U.E.S. in Chicago or The Raue Center in Crystal Lake basically anywhere in the northern part of the midwest this riveting show entertains.
Getting closer to the audience......
