CD submissions accepted! Guest writers always welcome!!

I started a quest to find terrific blues music and incredible musicianship when I was just a little kid. I also have a tremendous appreciation of fine musical instruments and equipment. One of my greatest joys all of my life was sharing my finds with my friends. I'm now publishing my journey. I hope that you come along!

Voodoo Child / Purple Haze - Vince Esquire Band

Vince Esquire (Vincent Esquer): In Vince Esquire's brief but impressive career, he has been featured with and opened for such music luminaries as Willie Nelson, the Gregg Allman band, The Allman Brothers, Los Lonely Boys, Fun Music legend Fred Wesley, Derek Trucks, Little Feat, The Little Memphis Blues Orchestra (formerly the Taylor Hicks Band), Coco Montoya, Tommy Castro, Willie K, Chris Duarte, Eric Johnson, The Doobie Brother's co-founder and guitarist Pat Simmons, Journey, The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band, The Fran Cosmo Band (formerly of the band Boston), The FIXX, Bill Kreutzmann and the 7 Walkers, Los Lobos and Aerosmith. In 2010 The Vince Esquire Band released their CD, "Back Where You Belong" with the production and engineering assistance of Uncle Don Lopez to warm reception, press and regular radio play. The stand-out track according to fans and peers is "War Cry", a 10 minute monster of a tune that heavily captures masterful production and raw emotion. Vince Esquire's guitar work is featured on the 2010 Gregg Allman CD "Low Country Blues" in which he plays along side T-Bone Burnett and Dr. John on the track, "Just Another Rider"
